My Approach

Exploring your concerns in a safe, confidential space with compassionate curiosity and no judgment or shame can help you make profoundly positive changes. Uncover your hidden patterns and expectations, and rewrite negative inner conversations (“self-talk”) that work against you.
During our initial visit, I will outline a treatment plan and discuss it with you. You can also let me know if you’re seeking a particular type of work such as cognitive behavioral therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), or ketamine-assisted therapy.
Why use integrative therapy?
I am an integrative therapist. This means that I can use one particular approach or a combination of strategies, whatever is best suited to you and the issues you’re working with.

My main approaches include:
Cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) for practical interventions in anxiety and depression.
Exposure and response prevention (ERP) to reduce the intensity of obsessive worries and compulsive behaviors.
Psychodynamic/depth psychology for recognizing vicious cycles, unproductive patterns, and expectations that limit you.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help bring overwhelming emotional experiences into better balance.
Emotionally-focused therapy to see how you’re “pressing each other’s buttons”.
Mindfulness wisdom that uses modern, secular Buddhist wisdom to help you refocus on big-picture values and stay centered during difficulty.
Attachment work to repair rifts, betrayals and hurtful communication dynamics.
